Dinner and Auction Evening Supporting Sala Bai

A celebration of victories against poverty and human trafficking. An evening of delectable cuisine, entertainment and dance

Join us on Thursday evening, November 19, 2015 at the Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa for MY STORY, a celebration of victories against poverty and human trafficking in Cambodia.

Be inspired by the uplifting accounts of young Cambodians who have overcome insurmountable obstacles to obtain an education and employment in hospitality. Sample Cambodian-inspired delicacies from Singapore's top chefs, enjoy cocktails over breathtaking views of the South China Sea, dance to Alexis Rawkin's soulful grooves, and bid on lifestyle and travel packages throughout this most meaningful and memorable evening.

All proceeds from this event will be donated to building the new home for future generations of young Cambodians attending the Sala Bai Hotel School in Siem Reap, Cambodia.

Since 2002, Sala Bai has successfully fought poverty and human trafficking by offering a free vocational education and a guarantee of employment in Cambodia's hospitality industry. With a focus on young women from underprivileged families, students complete 11 months of training in restaurant service, cooking, front office or housekeeping, and newly opened beauty therapy, including internships at 18 partner hotels. In 13 years, 1200 young Cambodian trained, 1200 employed, and more than 6000 lives changed forever.

Almost all of Sala Bai students share their salaries with immediate and extended family members. Our program has estimated more than 6000 individuals have benefited from the vocational education and guarantee of employment offered by the Sala Bai Hotel School.
